mark reilly

Mark is an experienced consultant petroleum geologist, having undertaken projects on the North West shelf, the Georgina basin and Libya. He has extensive experience in field geology and geomorphology, with extensive field experience in the Flinders Ranges and at Lake Eyre. He is currently managing director of Spinifex Geology and was formerly a consultant and instructor at Whistler Research. Mark has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology from the Queensland University of Technology, Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the National Centre for Petroleum Geology and Geophysics at the University of Adelaide and is a PhD candidate within the Australian School of Petroleum at the University of Adelaide. He is a casual lecturer in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Queensland and an adjunct associate lecturer in the Department of Archaeology at Flinders University. Mark has published in the EABS journal, APPEA journal and presented at many international conferences.
